Now how did I miss this post! Aww shucks for all those nice things you said about me (even though they're not true! :P).
Melanie Watt lives in Montreal and has a bird that goes to the same vet as my iguanas did. I have visions of "bumping" into her and that we become BFF's and Alex gets featured in her next Scaredy Squirrel book. I swear I'm not a stalker.
Augustine makes me cry just looking at the cover. It's about a penguin that moves to a new school and uses art to befriend the other kids.

Curious George is in HEAVY rotation here right now. I keep buying more George books just for my own sanity. They're hit and miss though, some suck and don't make sense (George visit the Zoo, George gets a medal), and some I could read over and over...and do (George goes Camping, George and the Pancakes).

Charlie and Lola books are fun too. The one about the hiccups is fun to read out loud.
Don't let the pigeon drive the bus (and the others in the series) are fun too.

French toast then freeze them and pop them into the toaster to warm them up. Only way I can get protein into Alex in the morning.

Being in customer service sucks, having dumb policies to follow is even worse.

Husband works right across the street from the Aldo head office. I can ask him to go and give Kassandra the evil eye if you'd like.

Alex's newest and most hilarious phrase is naked time! (sounds more like Nayked Tiiiime). And then proceeds to streak through the apartment naked.

The other day he saw a man on his balcony without his shirt on and Alex shouted "MAN! Naked Time!"

Them being herbivores was a huge plus for us. One day I want to go to the Galapagos to see the marine iguanas, those guys are freaky looking! Your Iggy the iguana comment seriously made me laugh. So thank you for that!
