So if Sinn Fein makes a proposal it is automatically a bad idea? Yeah, that's really trying to move forward!
I'm still trying to piece together climbing Croagh Patrick in May. And 50 guests at that? I wouldn't scoff at that achievement.
Of course the Priest-rapists should be tried in the courts. But those who are in positions of authority should also receive civil punishment. That includes Sean Brady. It also includes all of the cardinals now hiding in the Vatican and avoiding prosecution in their home countries. I am a Catholic, but I have nothing to do with these monsters. I want them all punished through the civil courts.
The attempt by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith is just another move by Cardinal William Levada to silence anyone in the Catholic Church. Levada is doing the same thing with the organization that represents 80% of American Sisters called the Leadership Conference of Religious Women. Just google "Levada, Molestation" if you want to see what his history has been as a protector of Pedophile priests. Levada has been hiding priest-rapists for a number of years in two different dioceses (Portland, Oregon and San Francisco, California). He refused to return to the States when the latest trial came up. This is the man who is trying to silence Father D'arcy. He's been hiding in Rome since 2005.
BigBear, not sure what you mean by flown. I was referring to the swastika that is on your skin! You know, the tattoo variety! Are you saying you have never seen one at an OO-KKK parade?
wrecked_hum, you may want to check your alcohol content. None of your (response) post makes any sense so I can't respond to it. Nowhere in my post do I mention political leaders. Nowhere do I mention any apologies. You might have excitedly misread another post and attached my name. I did take apart (quite nicely I admit) your preposterous comment about Nazism.
All this about an email address? It's simple, if you want it neutral for your email, it should be available. To force nationalists to accept "uk" is counterproductive to pursuing our agreed upon aim of peace.
wrecked_hum, how about what some loyalist lads did to a Carrickfergus (College School) boy all because he had a great, great grandmother who was Jewish. The OO-KKK hate, and it don't matter who. Did I mention that the boy had asberger syndrome? did I mention that his class was studying the holocaust? did I mention that the teachers in this "school" failed to take any action until the parent complained? By the by, Carrickfergus College motto is "Developing and Empowering young people for life." Presumably they mean life as leaders of the OO-KKK. The boy got a concussion from the physical beating that he took in school when they started calling him jewboy. So it really surprises me when you start babbling on about Nazi's. The only Nazi's and swatikas that I have ever seen in Northern Ireland are those belonging to the OO-KKK and some of the Loyalist paras.
Sounds like a reasonable suggestion, why not start with those who post here. Maybe respect will spread.
Now I've heard everything. Memorializing the mass murder at McGurk's Way would be a "chill factor?" This, a stretch of road with 15 families. How possibly could memorializing 15 randomly murdered persons be a "chill factor." Particularly when it involves such a small stretch of road.
