My take of this deal goes like this... He and the DOJ are complicit and in cahoots over project gunrunner (aka: fast and furious) that sent a whole bunch of high power weapons to Mexican drug cartels and conveniently were not tracked once they got over the border. Now that the investigation is in full swing there is quite a bit of stonewalling and witness intimidation going on and in all this nonsense they started sending demands to gun dealers here in the southwest that they had to start reporting to them the info of citizens who are now buying rifles. Long story short he's trying to take down the 2nd amendment in all this. So basically i think he has a very sinister plan to let us tank so he can start forcefully implementing his communistic and socialistic training he went thru for all those years before landing in Congress.
