Obama and Clinton support the coup and have not supported Zelayas right to return to Honduras. If they did, he would have been back in his office days ago. The USA still support the banana-republicans in Honduras and are working to obstruct Zelayas return and the restoration of the democratic order.They don't want to see real democracy in USS Honduras and they fear the spread of boliviarian independence that can be seen in the ALBA-countries.

The Banana-republicans want the continued military presence of the USA in Honduras, while Zelaya wants a free and independent country. It is that plain and simple.

There is no way that the referendum could have opened the way for re-election of Zelaya at the next election. That accusation makes no sence. It will take some time to remove the antidemocratic barrier against re-elections, and that debate has nothing at all to do with the coup.
