It's great to read that there are no deaths, but too many bus incidents this year! Road accidents are killing many Malaysians, and should be made a national issue. We need a Royal Inquiry into this situation.

MU used to be ranked as highly as NUS. Now because of bureaucracy and political interference, MU's rank has declined, while NUS is consistently in the top 3 of best Universities in Asia. If the Malaysian Government had any shame, it would admit that its policies have failed, and we have seen a dramatic decline in the quality of tertiary education of Malaysia.
You cannot blame the families for seeking legal advice. You have missing family members, and you're dealing with a big company- of course you want some legal advice so that you will not lose out. Surely MAS could be a little more sympathetic to the family members?
If UiTM students love their university, they should speak against it for gambling its reputation with this kind of nonsense.
Coming out with reports on numbers and figures isn't going to convince anyone. There has been a dystopic-feel emanating from post-GE 13 Malaysia. Issues such as soaring crime rates, high cost of living and incompetent public administration, mixed with the headlines concerning MH 370, Sabah and tension among religion has left many Malaysians feeling pessimistic and disillusioned. I'm sorry Najib, but there is little done to assure the people that your administration has these issues under control.
