It is not arguable that the typical Hollywood movie message has become more and more sanctimoniously leftist over the last few decades. There are exceptions. Some movies lean right, but these account for a very small percentage of movies which bother to be political at all. Yet, the vast majority of Americans identify as either conservative or centrist/independent.

There is a major disconnect going on. It's called shameless leftist propagandising.

It's called leftist run art schools and humanities departments churning out cranky, save-the-world leftist ideologues instead of truly creative and independent artists.

I bought some sugar cane sweetened Colas from Costco recently, and they do taste a lot better (to me) than the corn syrup Colas sold at most supermarkets.

Maybe we should demand free-trade in the US sugar industry (which is one of the most protected industries), so we have choices - regardless of the supposed health effects of one sugar over another.

The study admits that this is not proof of causation, merely a strong association.

Maybe kids who are raised in high violence groups within our society, are merely following a common urban fast food fad - in addition to acting out in violence as they are taught at home, in school, and on the streets.

Putin is an ex-KGB cold warrior. He hates America for playing a role in destroying the USSR.

He will stick his thumb in our eye every chance he gets.

He has no doubt warned Iran that they will have no more cities left if any of their (soon to have) new nukes get used on Russia.

But a nuclear war in the Middle East between Israel and the fanatical Islamists would make Russia rich.

Russia has lots of oil, and war in the Middle East would cause the price of oil to skyrocket.
