Any nations that give China permanent access to their territory are cutting their own throats.
Why isn't IMMIGRATION listed as a priority? It's certainly related to crime / security, the environment and health care. Then again, given Haiti, we're not supposed to talk about that now, I guess.
When is the West going to get radical on China? That is already long overdue.
Chinese also don't have any "soft spot" for religious believers or peaceful protestors either... ask any Tibetan monk or any demonstrator from Tiananmen Square.
Chinese are too busy "sorting out" Buddhist monks in Tibet and their own dissidents.
You castigate "Marxist apologists" but publicly support the Chinese communists?
What makes you think that China has ever had any respect for non-Chinese?
"Mental illness" is defined by China as any opinion which runs contrary to that of the Beijing regime.
You obviously have no experience living with Chinese immigrants in a Western context. I live in Metro Vancouver, where we are being colonised by Chinese. In my view, Chinese fall into two categories; rich Hongers, who flaunt their wealth as arrogantly as possible, and socially ignorant mainlanders, who conduct themselves with no sense of civility or respect for others. There is great antipathy here for Chinese, who have greatly reduced the quality of life for Whites and imposed their "culture" on everything from municipal funding to public education. Thanks to local Chinese, we even have publicly funded "Chinese New Year" events and "public art" displays of Mao. You may have had a different experience in HK, given their UK associations, but Chinese living here are socially incompatible.
Does the BNP really want to be seen endorsing the Communist regime in Beijing? As a Caucasian living in a predominantly Chinese neighbourhood, I can tell you that many (if not most) Chinese hate Westerners and take great joy in sticking it to Western powers. Any expression of support for China or Chinese people is myopic and foolhardy to our long-term interests.
