And you know, Hillary, you don't need any help from anybody else damaging our credibility. You and Barry are doing a bang-up job of that yourselves.

Won't I feel empowered!

You would think AARP had learned their lesson earlier this year, after losing membership on their first endorsement.

What is an insurance company? They engage in risk mitigation. They reduce our cost by pooling the risk over a large population. Your comment about Walmart is essentially flawed; yes they buy large quantities--of drugs near expiration (similar to the great deals they offer in the Meat department)

Why are their overheads larger than Medicare? That question is moot because Medicare cannot remain solvent for any length of time.

Your point about the cost of this fight is well taken--it's just a crying shame it cost so much to kill a stupid plan.

Your last question: come on already--a public option with a mask. The bottom line is Insurance companies affect the cost of health care, because they are managing the risk associated with healthcare. If you want to reduce health care costs--reduce risk---a.k.a TORT reform.

Summer vacation is over! Now it's back to the never-ending reality show, "Shove it," where congress critters attempt to shove more oppression and government control down our collective throats while trying to avoid the wrath of the great American gag reflex.

P.S. don't forget to correspond with your elected officials! remember, a letter a day helps keep socialism away!
