I live in CA, and I don't want the federal government to bail us out. I want all those idiots who voted the Dems back in to suffer. If things get too rough out here, then I'll vote with my feet and move out. Believe me, TS, your state is #1 on my list to move to.
Don't blame this Californian. I voted straight Republican ticket because I absolutely believe in the platform espoused by the GOP. I'm disgusted that my beautiful state is shackled with the likes of Moonbeam and Boxcar. What a nightmare!
I'm surprised no one's calling for an investigation into voter fraud, suppression and tampering. I think a case could be made for that in my precinct.
Oprah showed up on Stewart's show to reveal she was paying for plane tickets and hotel rooms for his audience to go to D.C. for the rally. Then, she did the same thing for her audience.
Attendance must be expected to be really dismal. Oh well. We can hope bad weather moves in and strands all the liberals in D.C. so they can't fly home and vote.
I never thought I'd see the day when a President had an enemies list that was longer than President Nixon's. It's a sad day indeed when the leader of the free world focuses his energies on political opponents rather than on the idiots trying to blow us up.
I saved the phone numbers for my county's Election Division and the state's Secretary of State in my cell phone. It came in handy three elections ago. Now if there's a question I just pull out the cell phone and call the ED or SOS directly. The precinct workers have learned to be more prepared and observant.
It might be beneficial to also save the phone numbers for the local reps of your political party and campaigns. They're useful in bad situations.
The VFW PAC endorsements are a disgrace to the VFW. My father and grandfathers are probably rolling over in their graves. Barbara Boxer is as anti-military and anti-veteran as you can get, yet one of her re-election commercials touts her success and accomplishments for veterans. It makes me want to wretch every time it comes on.
It's that old adage ... When the Dems are pointing one finger at the Republicans, they've got three fingers pointing back at themselves on every single issue they attempt to use in smear campaigns. The Dems and Libs are accusing the Republicans and Conservatives of everything they themselves are doing, because they are reading the polls and know the American people will no longer tolerate political business as usual.
I used to like John Cusack. Back when VHS was the "in" thing, I had a whole Cusack collection. Then I started informing myself on his politics and what the storylines were about. He's now on my list of actors/celebrities not to watch or support. It's a rather long list, including Matt Damon, Sean Penn, Danny Glover, Susan Sarandon, among many others.
It's guys like Cusack that are responsible for Hollywood's movie sales going down. Parents aren't going to spend hard-earned money to take their kids to go see movies where celebrities can't separate their politics from their scripts or insult where they insult the military.
