Simply out Palns and Bachmans and Perry's gaffs show a horrid lack of understanding history and those who defend such gaffs a d those who applaud "simple" speech are the death of the GOP.

Someone like Beck is fine for middle America but the conservative movement needs voices on the coasts too.

Listen...I spoke to a person who I will not name who has first hand knowledge of the McCain camp fruitless attempt to get Gov Palin to grasp simple diplomatic issues of foreign policy. She was not ready for the prime time period! Of course the Dems and media had it in for her -unfairly. But her mama grizzly absurdity was a cringe inducing laughingstock!

Of course the "journalist's" are in the tank for Obama but damn it Every GOP candidate should be smart enough to take them down a peg and deftly point out their bias questions why still appealing to independents - I thought Newt did a fair job of that once.

As for hick culture I am sorry but when Big Hollywood celebrates an ignorant hick with 3rd grade humor like Larry the Cable guy in his sleeveless shirt and trucker hat as some great American entertainer I want to vomit!!! Do you know how the GOP looks to the refined set that would vote against Obama if the reps put up someone decent? Do you know how we look to the rest of the world??? It's nauseating ! Hey Tea Party - appreciate your efforts and patriotism but for god sakes stop going to rallies in blue jeans and an American eagle T-Shirt!

Someone, who owns more than one suit, knows the difference between lowlands and Islay scotch, can appreciate Bach, Gershwin, and Dorsey a d know the difference between them all, eagerly attends impressionist art exhibits, have traveled the world, and would prefer a fine French restaurant over McDonalds 100 out of 100 times needs to take CONTROL of the GOP from the dumb hicks currently in control!

Who knew they taught Derrida at DeVry? So go ahead and deconstruct my original argument. Celebrating the lowest common denominator in culture, intellect, articulateness, and political arguments have neutered the GOP! That is fact.

For someone like Palin who probably has no clue who Burke, Kirk or even Buckley are, and to have no discernibly grasp on foreign affairs is a giant albatross around the GOP!
