I like what Debbie has to offer. I don't want another Mexican cooking show. I don't want another Sandra Lee.
I thought Adama should have won last year - Instead foodnetwork stole his show idea and gave it to some chick- and he still gets a show.
If Debbie doesn't win- I hope she gets a show anyway because it'll be better to watch than Jeff or Melissa - bland.

I mean seriously, that's how you're going to play it? Jeff assigned the biggest part of the night to Debbie and he went and shmoozed. It takes a lot of "talent" to hand food out to people. I mean... who loves you people... Jeff and Mike didn't even show Debbie how to "plate" their nasty food anyway.

However, if food network wants a really fun to watch Korean cook, recommend Maangchi at http://www.maangchi.com. She is awesome.

The only time where I really thought that Debbie was acting really crappy was when she didn't own up the crap dessert. She tried to pawn it off as a group thing.
If you managed to read through this whole post, then I congratulate your diligance. Debbie needs to stop making excuses for everything she does. I think that is the most irritating part. If she'll just admit a mistake and move on, then it wouldn't be so bad to watch. However, her excuses make everything drag on and get more and more confusing and sad to watch.

I'm Korean, no really I am. I'm also American; unfotunately, here in America, we are pigeon holed into our "ethnic" identities much too often. I personally would love it if the other contestants were like - I'm white, that's why I use salt in my dish.
That being said. I cook a lot of Korean food and it is super heavy on garlic and red pepper. When she's talking about using a ton of garlic in her recipes, it really is a ton. It's not the little bit that Emeril did and then goes "bam." And the audience is like.. oo garlic...
I could totally picture Debbie having a show where she's like adding Garlic to a pot and everyone's like... cuz I'm Korean... haha.
