Bring on the warmth and sun. I swear it felt like it has been raining since fall of 2009.

Maybe I'm not opened minded enough, but this just seems creepy. This guy is technically old enough to be her Grandfather. Who am I to judge though. Good luck with your marriage.

I'm not debating medical marijuana, but they were breaking the law. Was this the only place in Washington County that could supply this? No offense to anyone who needs this for medicinal purposes, but it is hard to take seriously when the business is called 'Wake and Bake." Perhaps pharmacy's should be renamed "Pop and Shop," or something to that affect.

I agree the thought of this is vile and disgusting, but I fail to see why the city needs to waste taxpayer money dumping the reservoir. As everyone else seems to have pointed out, is this any worse than any of the other contaminants deposited daily from being an open air reservoir. Since it appeared that their was a fence around the reservoir, cite the idiot for trespassing and ORS 164.785¹ Placing offensive substances in waters, on highways or other property.

Should we take this same stance on all people that end up polluting the river? How do you think the Willamette got to its disgusting status. Pretty soon we won't have one to enjoy.

You are definitely entitled to you opinion and I respect that. I am curious how you came to the conclusion that it is not the owners fault. To be fair, I don't have the answers to these question either, but was the boat properly moored? Was the repair work being done on the haul? Should the boat have been placed in dry dock? Did the owner contract out for someone to do the work, or was the owner doing the repair work. If the owner did hire a qualified repair person, then I fully agree with you. It should be the bonded contractor.

I see nothing wrong with this; however, I'm sure someone will have a reason why this is a bad idea. This in theory should lessen the burden of the local police force, and the college police force, I would like to think, would be paid from the money collected from tuition. Sounds like a win-win situation for both tax payers and college students. I am interested in any of the cons.

For the same reason i would get a ticket for having visible emissions from my car or for leaking oil or hazardous materials on the street. The owner is responsible for care and upkeep.
