This article articulates what I've been trying to communicate to people (not nearly as effectively I might add) when they see me wearing my Ruth Marlin pin and ask me why I'm voting for Ruth.

Air Traffic Controllers are not sheep. They are a bright group of people who by the very nature of their job make the right decision 99.9% of the time. That's why I'd hate to see people voting a certain way just because someone at their facility told them to or because they're uninformed. The information is out there. It's like you said, people should do some reasearch and see for themselves.
