They are not buying these things at retail prices. Apple wants to hook kids early and turn them in to life long Apple users. Back in the 90's Apple product for schools were at 40% discount from retail.
I would love to know if these people are paying property tax in AZ and I would bet they aren't. Snow birds have a large impact on the social services in AZ because they use them and don’t pay for them, because they don’t pay property tax or income tax. They can boycott Seattle all they like but I would bet good money they are doing the same thing they are complaining the illegals are doing; using services without paying for them.
And if you use your Credit Card not your Debit Card and see the fraud on your statement they credit card company has to give you back your money. I like being able to donate vai credit card because I can easily see at the end of the year what I donated and to whom.
The Tooth Fairy gives that money.... REALY? Yes its tax payer money but the point is guying this guy a funeral is not going to cause us to shut down the ASPCA or not hand out food to the hungry. Trust me the cost of this funeral is pennies compared to other things the city spends money on.
Don't like people like him get you down. People only want their tax dollars spend on things they need or they think is important. Nor do they understand how killing of an officer can shake a whole community. Some of us in the community need to grieve at the loss even if we didn’t personally know the officer.
TCM I hate to break it to you but most police departments put money away every year to help pay for things like this.
