I do need to clarify something about my post. There are plenty of good, wholesome people who go to/work in bars. That doesn't mean, though, that bars are good places to find them.

Breaking their windows and spraying graffiti on their walls? Yeah, that'll sure show 'em. [eye roll]

"What I find is if you go to bars, you don't really know what people's interests are," he said. "You can't really walk into a bar and complain about climate change or peak oil without having people look at you weird. That would probably scare off a lot of people."

Yeah you also have a far higher chance of getting injured or killed during any fights that break out in the bar. Bars are two-bit sh[beep]tholes for drowning in sorrow, picking up skanks, and/or getting in pseudo-macho fights that escalate into people getting stabbed/shot. They're definitely not places to find good, wholesome people to date or take good, wholesome people for dates.

HOA's are such a useless, un-American concept that desecrates the very purpose of America. It's so sad that there are so many people who willfully submit to their anti-Americanism.

Yes, there are plenty of people who can imbibe responsible amounts of alcohol without becoming violent. We've all seen plenty of examples of that. However, that does not change the fact that alcohol and violent behavior go hand-in-hand. It's not a new concept or some secret. This has been well-known for a few decades.

My statement does not imply that all people who consume alcohol are violent except in your own mind. It simply states a well-known, scientifically and medically accepted fact in a casual way. This fact is exemplified in part by the number of bar fights that occur daily and nightly around the world. If I wanted to imply something as ridiculous as what you interpreted, I would have said something asinine like, "All people who drink alcohol are violent." Try to stay focused, mmmkay?

Pay no mind to any TD's you get. Alcohol and Violence are married to each other and are always together. A lot of folks like to ignore that reality.

If that were true, you wouldn't feel the need to defend yourself about it to a bunch of strangers on a news website.
