My kids will never set foot inside a public school.

Actually the sarcasm in your post was what prompted me to reply to you. Nice try, though.

Good grief, Ken. They aren't telling them to turn the music off. They're telling them to keep it at a reasonable volume to accommodate the majority of the people in a town who say it's too loud. I think ice cream trucks are too loud. They have no need to be heard from 7 blocks away for 45 minutes. I darn sure don't want to hear a recording of The Entertainer from an amplified musicbox for 45 minutes. I don't even want to hear The Entertainer at all.

Give yourself the Schrammie for being so narrow-minded today.

I don't see any smugness on their faces. What I see is a woman who obviously loves her husband sitting next to him in his hospital room as he recovers from a poisonous snake bite that could have taken his life, and a man who is drugged up and not feeling well from having been bitten by a poisonous snake and almost losing his life.

There is no law suit for this man to pursue. Insurance companies will be handling this. No company is responsible for the actions of a wild creature that ventures into its store unnoticed.

And speaking of snakes in people places, I just now (hours after originally posted) discovered a small grass snake near the back door of my workplace and ushered it back outside. The fact that this snake entered the building is -not- the fault of my employer.

"I suppose he thought he was getting even w/the snake, typical wal-mart mentality. "

I agree with his excessive activity increased his blood pressure thus speeding up the delivery of the venom to the rest of his body, but what I quoted above from you is just a bit ridiculous.

The man likely went off on the snake out of self-preservation and fear, not revenge.

Sue Walmart for what? Because a wayward snake managed to make its way unnoticed into an area it thought would be a good place to hide or get something to eat -- like any other snake in any place in the world?

Walmart does not control snakes' decision-making abilities.

Exactly. You don't even have to know of someone's existence to be accused of looking at them. They just have to think you did and then you can either get caught in a downward spiral of drama or get shot.

The only point they proved is that they are cowards hiding behind their guns. Anyone with at least one hand with all 4 fingers and thumb can hide behind a gun and use it to intimidate people or get revenge.

Apparently these useless wastes of air who did this are too stupid to understand that when you shoot people in real life, they usually die, and the revenge these worthless pieces of crap think they got doesn't exist because dead people don't suffer -- their families and friends who had absolutely nothing to do with the situation suffer instead.

When the police catch these completely brain-dead pieces of animal excrement, they should also take one of the thugs' most precious loved ones and lock them up too -- making sure any bad treatment from other prisoners is caught on video and sent to the thugs to watch...or has this one pissed me off just a little too much?
