Both, obviously. They lack subscribers so they need more money. They wouldn't go F2P if they didn't expect to earn more money that way.

F2P? It's really odd to see this title begin as a F2P title. Hopefully they've learned from other successfull F2P MMOs what to do and what not to do with cash shops and such. I'm guessing there will be an optional subscription but I honestly don't know. I'm seriously a bit shocked that they're starting out as F2P. It makes sense to do so, it's really hard for a B2P/P2P mmo to survive, but I'm still surprised.

Also, give me Venom and Carnage and I'll put this on my GOTY list.

I'm glad they're going through with this. There's just not enough players on. Hopefully after this update, they'll get some more PvE content out. It'll hook more people to keep playing the game.
