I agree with you 100% = this is an example of how important it is to only give Gift Cards to reputable businesses that have proven they appreciate their customers. They knew they would be moving to a new location and there would be a delay in when they could provide installing car starters and should have told the people buying the gift cards at the time they were purchased.
This is why it is best NOT to buy Gift Cards from any business that does not let their customers know they will be closing or "relocating" their business. It appears that Custom Sound needs a refresher course in Customer Service!

I want to state from personal knowledge how the ASPC Officers handed a case that involved someone very close to me. This individual owned 3 Pit Bulls and raised them to be very loving and gentle dogs. However, this person's health turned very serious and required this personal to spend lengthly stays in the hospital. A member of the family would go and feed the dogs once a day, but in the meantime, the dogs had to be tied up outside which is NOT the idea way to treat animals. Someone called the ASPC and accused the dogs of being neglected. When the Officer came, the caregiver happened to be there and explained the situation. This Officer was very understanding and offered a solution that IF the owner would turn custody of the dogs over to him, he would guarantee all of them would be adopted due to their gentle and loving dispositions and the owner could concentrate more on their own health problems. This was done - not charges were ever filed - and all 3 dogs did find homes in families where they all had the 24 hour attention they deserved. The two men that serve the Utica area are Police Officers that have the authority to arrest anyone that intentionally harms an animal, but also are there to help and offer their assistance to benefit an animal as well as their owner.
What a kind and loving heart this woman has. Not only is it reflected in what she is presently doing to help others but also the way she raised her son to help others less fortunate than he was. We need more women like her in this world..
North Utica is getting more and more populated and will only increase in size when Nano begins. At the present time, there is only 1 Patrol Car for N. Utica which is NOT enough due to the expanding population. Since there was no description of what the robber wore or anything about the color of his hair and height, it will be very awkward to trying to locate someone with only the description he wore a blue sweater!
With all the constant changes being made to the driving paths and lane changes on the Arterial due to all the constant contruction, it is amazing there hasn't been more accidents that this fatal one. Why isn't there better lighting put up so people are more aware of the changes made as it is very difficult to drive near or on the Arterial without enough lights to show where you have to go. My prayers and heart go out to the Khiemdavnah for their tragic loss; especially at this time of the year.
Looks like everyone has the same opinion of this POS that has such a low mentality to believe violence is the answer to solving a problem. Hopefully, when he stands in front of a Judge for sentencing, the Judge will give him the maximum length of time to serve on these charges and send him to jail to spend up some time caged up as the animal he is.
CPS tries to put children with a relative, if possible rather than a stranger (Foster Care). The accused killer of this boy was the daughter of the sister of the natural birth mother who lost all her children to CPS. It is my understanding that ALL Foster Care Parents go thru a rigid background check before they are allowed to become Foster Parents. This case apparently slipped thru the cracks and no home investigations (if done) never revealed any neglect or abuse.
Being poor is absolutely no excuse for dealing drugs. You learn to live on a strict budget and get a job - even at minimum wage it is honest money with no fear of getting arrested and going to jail on a dealing charge.
