Thanks for the comment Jomo. It's not about the actual compensation they receive in exchange for Lynch, it's about the Bills management doing something intelligent and getting something back in return for a player that has no future with the franchise. That would be a major shift, in my opinion, from what they've been doing as of late.

Who's calling Reid an idiot? Not me... I was simply reporting the news out of Philly, and while I think that Reid made the right choice in the end, I also feel that he went about it the wrong way. He never should have stated that Kolb was his starter going forward only to reverse that decision 24 hours later.

Having the ability to stay vague when discussing gameplans, injuries, and other player/team news is an important trait to have as a head coach, and like it or not, Reid clearly failed at doing that this week.

Thanks for the comment...

John... you're reading too far into what I wrote here. You're thinking I'm saying that the Jets are completely lost without Revis on the field, and might as well give up, but that's not the case.

What I was trying to say was that the Jets have a lot to lose if they can't get Revis back, in that their aspirations are basically Super Bowl championship or bust. Not having Revis hurts them tremendously, and could end up costing them their shot at winning it all this year. So my thought is that they should do what they can to sign him now. That's all.

Hope you drop back in again... thanks for the comment.

Screw off. Tek jacking ARoid in his pretty boy face is one of the single greatest moments in franchise history. It literally turned our season around. Saying otherwise makes you look and sound like a complete fool... go cheer for the Yankmes... we don't need dumbasses like you in the Nation

I just report the news Adam... the fine folks at ESPN are the ones who believe it will be a third round pick. Personally I think Detroit would have to give up it's third and a fifth at the very least to get Haynesworth, potentially upping that offer to a 2nd and a 7th to get it done if need be.

Thanks for the comment Tom. I think you\'re reading too far in to what I wrote. I was clearly trying to indicate that legally speaking, there\'s nothing present that would cause Roethlisberger any difficulty.

Could I have worded it differently? Maybe. Does it really matter? I don\'t think it does but obviously to you it does. My apologies for not making things more clear for you.

Totally a mistake... not intentional at all. It's fixed now. Got to stop updating things at 2 in the morning.

Hey Joe, thanks for the heads up. I completely missed that one... got it fixed now. Definitely didn't mean for the Boys to take two receivers. Hope you like the new pick better...

Hooser, thanks for your question...

I don't think the Steelers are going to be major players in this free agent class and here's why:

1. They never spend a ton of cash on free agents. The Steelers are among the best at identifying talent in house and cultivating those players into stardom. They also draft really well and consistently pull out at least two or three key players each year that will contribute to their success.

2. They don't have that many needs. Not many teams can say that with a straight face, but in Pittsburgh's case, it's true. They struggled last season because of injuries and a lack of offensive identity. Not because they didn't have enough talent. The Steelers are built to win with tough defense and a strong running game. Once they went to the air it out approach, things quickly devolved for them. I think you'll see a much more familiar team hit the field this fall, with the emphasis returning to crushing their opponents by running it down their throats.

Hope that helps... thanks again for the question!
