i don't drive for metro, nor am i a 587 member
my property's rules are a bit different than metro's or 587's
& i'm not about to do a stupid maneuver like the tri-met operator did
i'm sure the rules at tri-met regarding discipline are different than 587's, metro's, or mine

this driver is OUTTA LINE
as a public transit driver myself, we HAVE to deal with the public-screaming babies included
a screaming baby is part & parcel of my job-just another part of my day
if mom & baby were at the very back of the bus-maybe the noise of the engine was upesetting the child.....
if i ever threw a mom or dad & their screaming child off the bus, i'd lose my job in 1 millisecond flat

if a credit union offered Alaska Airline Miles credit & debit cards like Bank of America, i'd be leaving BofA so fast there might be a sonic boom in my wake
unfortunately, i earn miles with BofA's credit & debit cards, so i can't really completely leave
i have a Watermark auto loan, with my interest rate about 4% points LOWER than what BofA offered me, & watermark's service is outstanding
plus their savings rate is more than BofA's

gotta love the ILWU-they're so myopic
so they continue to fight to work at this grain terminal-what happens if the damage to railroad & terminal property becomes so great that the port terminal is shut down & the trains are shifted to another port?
the ILWU loses-because that other port may not be in WA or OR-it might even be another union-staffed port
i'm sure that other ports with ILWU workers are looking at this situation & considering their options

ok komo-that video is of a SOUND TRANSIT bus & route-NOT community transit which your story was about
if you wanted video of ct buses, why didn't you go to mariner, ash way, or lynnwood-instead of south everett?
i hope the bigwigs at ct are gonna start laying the excess management & admin people off, as well as taking a 20% pay cut themselves [i ain't holdin my breath for either one to happen]
ct is so top heavy it's insane-they have 10 people making more than $100,000 a year-& NOT ONE of those "directors" has taken a pay cut in the last 3 rounds of service cutbacks
not to mention, the ceo of ct is NOT answerable to to public or her ridership [the board of directors & the ceo have each other's backs]
