I once met Ronnie (that's what he asked me to call him) McDonald. I still get a tingle every time I see him; perhaps someday I can introduce you to Ronnie.

My Senior DI at MCRD/San Diego had his own version: "There are no blacks and no whites here. You are all the color "green"; it just so happens that some of you are 'light-green' and some of you are 'dark-green'."
That was a rare moment: witnessing a few of my fellow recruits actually chuckle/laugh, and not being disciplined! Good times...

Although I haven't seen her in several years, Debra is, without a doubt, one of the sweetest, kindest and warmest Souls I've had the pleasure to have met since returning to Boulder....
My point: Regardless of the jurisprudence enacted, and Debra's "Life Sentence", there is one thing Mr. Torrez, nor anyone else for that matter, can ever take away from her or her family....Debra's "Heart".
