Thank you for taking the time to read the book. Glad to hear that you like it. I hope more people realize that what goes in countries like India is every bit relevant to Europe and beyond.

In India and in its neighborhood we have had the modern version of Islamic conquest at play. It's the good old Islam in action, folks!

Good observations, Robert .

At the moment India is reeling under an onslaught of a multi-front jihad. This includes subversion and demographic takeover of parts of India by Muslims. What goes on in India now is very relevant to Europe, as I have discussed in my new book Defeating Political Islam: The New Cold War.

One has to wonder what role the convoluted apologist for Islamic extremism, Fareed Zakaria is playing in Newsweek.

Actually a systematic effort has been underway to implement sharia in Kashmir:

The name of the book is:

Defeating Political Islam: The New Cold War.

I am mentioning the book, because it may be particularly relevant for our discussion. If I come across other books, I will mention them too.

Washington better understand that India must be leveraged to "tame" Pakistan.

"The problem is that their army is deployed along their Eastern border with India to defend against an imaginary enemy, instead of where the real enemy is."

Most of the Pakistani army is deployed in the eastern border to facilitate offensive jihad. Right now, a very large number of terrorists are being pushed into India, along with porters to carry heavy hardware -- designed to create multiple Mumbai-like commando attacks in many parts of India.

Clearly, Pakistanis are up to something...

"Created in 1947 as a nation for Muslims living in British-ruled India, Pakistan has found itself having to define its national aspirations in terms of religion. One could argue that the Koranic statistics discussed above would favor Islamists in their ideological battle with secular democrats in defining a vision for the nation. Indeed, this appears to be the case. When Hindu-majority India, the other nation created from British-ruled India, was building quality higher educational institutions of learning, Pakistan was focusing on jihad or a religious war. Even its army's focus is jihad - the motto reads: "faith, piety and holy war in the path of Allah."

Pakistan has been embarking on jihad-building, not nation-building. It was inevitable that this jihadist infrastructure has been used to sponsor terror in nearby Afghanistan and against India. It is now widely acknowledged that the majority of the over 10 billion dollars of the American aid given to Pakistan since 2001, intended for combating Islamic extremism, has instead, gone to build this jihadist infrastructure."

Is Islam radical or not?

This is from my forthcoming book, scheduled for release in a week:

"61 percent of the Koran either talks ills of unbelievers or calls for their violent conquest and subjugation, but only 2.6 percent of it talks about the overall good of humanity."

These statistics tell us that at the fundamental level Islam is radical and the overwhelming nature of the above statistics implies that the extent of radicalism in Islam is beyond interpretation.

Could someone post this Sean’s forum?

Jdamn, Here is the reference to the 2.6%: http://www.politicalislam.com/blog/the-good-in-th...

I was being magnanimous and I am aware of even the "2.6%" being abrogated later on. We are not in much disagreement.

I think you are missing my main point here. Among the most effective ways discrediting what apparently is a camouflaging ideology is through statistics. Had Mr. Wilders used them in his response (he has read my manuscript), he would have been more compelling! This is not to put him down; I regard him very highly.

"What do you say to scholars of Islam like Daniel Pipes, who argues that radical Islam is the problem and moderate Islam is the solution?"

Where is evidence that moderate Islam is the solution?

However, statistical analysis of Islamic doctrines and outlook of Muslim populations give a different story. From my forthcoming book: “61 percent of the Koran either talks ills of unbelievers or calls for their violent conquest and subjugation, but only 2.6 percent of it talks about the overall good of humanity.”

Whatever moderate form of Islam there is, it is overwhelmingly dominated by a violent outlook tracing back to the doctrines.

Checkout what Mr. Robert Spencer, Geert Wilders, Andrew Bostom and Bill Warner have to say about the book:
