Zelda once again disappoints.

1. Although graphics aren't everything, these graphics look crappy compared to other Wii games. Games like Mario Galaxy 2, Other M, and Donkey Kong look so much better, it puts this game to shame. After a delay of a year to add polish to the graphics, and see this product, one can't help but feel disappointed.

2. More importantly, what was up with that flying section? Although I don't think I'll mind it, flying on a red dragon seems WAY to similar to navigating with that red boat. One can't honestly say that spending so much time flying, with little to nothing to do, is exciting. This is more a fear than fact, but if the flying is as inane as the navigating in Wind Waker, ugh.

3. The gameplay. Like the recent Zelda iterations, this game seemed way to easy. Not only is it my impression, but many reviewers noted that they beat the boss in their first try. Really? C'mon, I expect to not only be challenged in figuring out puzzles, but combat as well. That boss doesn't exactly strike any fear into me either. It's more lame than anything else. Obviously my opinion, but I'm confident that many people will not buy this game b/c of something like that (especially non-Zelda players)

LOL. You're an idiot. While you "MAY" have a valid point regarding new gamers loving particular games on xbox or ps3, you are just horribly under if not totally unqualified to comment about what old school gamers like and shouldn't like. Not only did I actually own and grow up with an NES, many others I knew did as well. And most of these individuals loved Zelda, all the way up to Twilight and this atrocity (although Wind Waker sucked too). Beyond the graphics, the games themselves are nothing more than shells or their previous games. Zelda has essentially become Nintendo's Megaman; nothing more than the same crap over and over. While you and other idiots ramble on about the graphics (which aren't good) the real issue is the trailer showed NOTHING different than the other previous 15 Zelda games. So stop posting senseless crap and try to sound like you know what's up, because you don't.

100% agree. After playing Other M, i really wished they took their graphical approach for this Zelda. And while we're at it, borrow Other M's control scheme, cause I really hate how over-emphasized the motion controls look here.

Precisely! Only in Zelda do you hear people say "graphics aren't everything". I don't judge a game purely on graphics, but the style here just screams lazy. As you stated, graphics are a category, and should be worked on in a real, honest fashion. I don't care what rationale people give, these graphics suck ass.

I feel you buddy with the masculinity remark. I've played early Zelda games in front of my girlfriend, and likes them. But when I played Wind Waker, and saw me watching the Skyward Sword trailer, she called me gay. Not saying she's a gaming expert, but that's the feeling I get with this new game. And no I don't hate gays by the way, just saying.

Thank God, someone sensible. I would prefer more serious graphics, but if the game had some cool new levels, bosses, weapons, and music especially (which I think is seriously lacking in modern games) i'd love the game.
