First off, the first movie was shit...but for something to go from imagination to right in front of you is pretty cool, no matter what you are in to.
As for this movie, im really wishing its better, but from seeing the trailer I'm not to sure, Kristen and Robert still cant act and the freaking CGI was TERRIBLE. If this movie sucks as much balls as the last one, i'll just keep my head in the books.

One last thing Sam Worthington and Anton Yelchin are amazing actors! I couldn't care less about Christian Bale, he seemed so stiff...Sam (Marcus) conveyed more emotion then he did which I thought was strange...seeing as John Conner is supposed to be more* human. I dunno, just my thoughts.

#1: Ok so say Kyle Reese was killed...would everyone just go *poof* and cease to exist? Or would an alternate reality be created say like in Star Trek?
#2: So why did Marcus give his heart to John Connor who eventually dies anyway. Marcus was an asset in my opinion, he could go hand to hand with the machines where as John Conner can't...and in the third movie it is plainly stated that John Connors son is who continues to lead the Resistance...and as you saw in the movie Katherine was already pregnant (with no doubt his son) It seemed a little dumb to me because as he lay dieing, John Connor could have ordered people to send a T-800 to go back and protect him. It also would have fit the storyline had he died, seeing as in the third one, Arnold (T-800) said *he* killed him.
And my only criticism against the movie had to be the CGI effects of the T-800 with Arnold skin. I mean, it looked great for CGI but at the same time I think they could have done better with an actual model/makeup. I know Stan Winston is gone but they could have figured something out to that effect.
Anyway LOVED the movie, I'd highly recommend it to anyone.
