Have you seen "The Pixar Story" documentary extra on the Wall-E DVD? It showed an early animatic cut of Toy Story that had Woody as an egotistical and mean-hearted doll rather than the Woody we know today. Disney was willing to shut down production on the movie once they saw that early cut.
Well, that was fun... in a MST3K sort of way! I could see what all the fuss regarding "Step Up 2" was about. Like JordanA said earlier, I don't think I'd have pushed myself to watching it any other way. Keep it up!
My guess is that he'll cast "pretty boy" Zac Efron as Sinbad against our better judgment, having worked with him on "Hairspray" despite not having any Middle Eastern/Persian attributes. What a travesty that'll be! Much like casting Jake Gyllenhaal in "Prince of Persia".
