I enter everyday and should since I live up Peachtree Rd 3 miles away in Brookhaven & quite frequently drive by the place. The balcony gives pause unless it's enclose-able in winter. Contrary to popular belief ATL is not in Florida and it can get below 30F and at 37 floors up, the wind can be daunting even in July. Of course, the DR furniture would have to go and some other ideas come to mind in the LR as well. KIT and Baths are great, sleek and moden as are the BRs. Realistically, it's a lifestyle change; no more dashing out on a whim or easily having friends running in and out.....

OK..Dan made it seem so easy and being an avid flicker between DIY and HGTV on a daily basis, I'm an avid, picky viewer. This headboard goes with most design styles, be it traditional, transitional or contemporary. Swap out the fabric color to suit yourself and you've got a winner. But there is a tendency for HGTV to push the real estate side. Nice to see a design star you can believe in and who is relevant.

The coffee table is a really utilitarian take on an old necessity and goes well on the concrete floor, tile floors too as well as hardy plank wood floors. It'd look great equally in a man cave or a DIY BlogCabin environment as well possibly in an outdoor covered space with nice faux or stone floors.

Vern's concept and follow thru on the design are spectacular. I was sort of expecting modern elements to dominate and they don't. It is so warm and a great blend of what works together with traditional as well as contemporary pieces placed correctly to facilitate but not overwhelm the space. Since both my Italian grandparents were born on the lower West Side in the Washington Sq park area not too far away, it of course would be emotional to win and live part-time there. That is even though the HOA fees and property taxes might be over the top. I'd surely have to sell it at some stage. It is so well done though.

Right...and that's why Sir Clive was conveniently waltzing around the set with $5K in his pocket to save the day! It was a show biz moment and not a real issue.
