Having an older house - 130 years old! It's hard to seal off, so dust gets in. It's got an old-fashioned basement, so mold creeps in. Found some old pipes with water still in them that had been "boxed in" and forgotten - nasty, nasty mold! And then there's my natural reluctance to clean: I can always do it "tomorrow" - lol!

Can I have two? I love my marble rolling pin - a gift from my wonderful husband many years ago. Then there's my "kitchen fork" - it's a two-pronged fork handed down from my great-grandmother, civil-war era, made of bone. Priceless, both in memories and usefulness.

My favorite part of gardening is right after your plants are in.The dirt is freshly tilled, nice and soft and earthy smelling. Weeds haven't started growing yet. It's full of promise.

The perfect set for my living room - matching coach, love seat and chair, with high enough backs for support and wide arms for temporarily balancing a book or whatever.
