I agree that self-esteem begins with good parenting. I disagree that Lady Gaga is a performance artist. Oh, she may be performing, but there's nothing artistic about it.

I also disagree about the role model comment. These people ARE role models, whether they choose to be or not. Maybe it is the kids who don't have good parenting more often than those who do. Why would you want to be such a vile example to any kid?

Like I said in response to someone else, then why not base her career on that, instead of looking and acting like a cheap prostitute?

I guess I'm old, but I had no idea who this woman was until recently. I found some online interview with her and she was so perverse, so obscene that I couldn't believe what I was reading. This is what passes for "talent" these days? I cannot even look at her without feeling sick.

I can't speak to the movie since I have not and will not see it. But I'll comment on a few of your statements:

The truth is that few people these days have the time, energy or desire to analyze anything! They simply believe what they are told 24/7. And let's face it, unless you read BH or other places that give the facts, how will you know them? These are the lies are told to us from every segment of society - from newspapers to news programs, from Hollywood to universities. If you're not online to seek out correct information, where would you get it?

I don't follow Sandra Bullock and had no idea who she was married to or his background. I have nothing against tattoos or bikers. It's the other stuff that grosses me out. Why she'd marry him is a mystery to me as well. Wow.
