He wouldn't have plead guilty if he wasn't.
Why is everyone making him seem like the victim. He plead guilty because clearly he was. The punishment fit the crime. I'm sure if your boyfriend beat on you, or if a man beat on your mother, sister, cousin, and/or best friend you'd want an even more harsh punishment for them.

Okay, that's just disgusting.. I highly doubt its true. I'm 24 year old and I feel wrong for having thought Chris was cute. But a 40 year old woman who's old enough to be his mom? Wtf?!
The interesting this is everyone is wishing them their privacy. Yet when a couple hides domestic violence.. it only gets worse.
I guarantee all the innocent people in jail are not celebrities. Sure an average person without the money could easily be convicted of something they didn't do. But someone of Chris Brown's status and financial background can afford good lawyers. If he didn't do it... he wouldn't get convicted.
Its not fair to blame Rihanna for ruining his career. Nobody knows what happened.
Basically... this isn't a good thing for Chris. Everyone who's been against him throughout this entire situation, will be even more against him. In typical domestic violence cases, the woman doesn't leave the man who's abused her. Now I am not saying Chris is a woman beater. And I definitely wouldn't assume that Rihanna is some crazy bitch who started everything, BUT, all these people who have taken Rihanna's side over his, will just view her even more as a victim of domestic violence. If Chris did beat her up, Rihanna is responding how many females in that situation would. People will not assume that what happened wasn't that bad because Rihanna took him back, they will assume it's worst.
I don't think anyone will ever really know what happened between them. We can just hope they fix whatever issues they have and have a healthy relationship, or they just call it quits.
People are gonna backlash even more than that. In typical domestic violence cases against women, the woman ALMOST ALWAYS takes the man back. So people aren't going to sit there and think "well maybe what happened isn't so bad if they're back together". They're going to stereotype Chris as a woman beater, and Rihanna as an abuse victim. Really. I don't think the people who are against Chris Brown will be changing their minds any time soon. Its unfortunate for him if he didn't hit her. But if he did hit her, Rihanna is responding in a typical fashion.
