I'd like to remind everyone that ignoring chuck is an option. He obviously doesn't post on this site to have real discussions.

Hannity might be biased, but national news coverage is a huge boon to any grass roots movement. If the people and elected officials don't see the numbers who come out to support these Tea Parties then what effect will they have? What I'm asking is, if a Tea Party falls in the woods and nobody's there to hear it...

I would also add that we (real tea party people) must not allow the infiltrating saboteurs to encite riots that would paint the tea party movement as some type of violent, fringe radicals.

mamaof2g - if it makes you feel better (or perhaps worse) I am totally dissatisfied with how my PA senators and rep have been voting. However, I am proud (and sad) to say that they have been elected despite how I voted.

JS - There doesn't need to be a barrier between you and the people who follow the 2nd principle. If people truly follow these principles, and if they believe in the U.S. Constitution, then they respect your right not to believe in God.

However, don't confuse a government that not only acknowledges God, but believes in him as a violation of Church and State. Church and State simply means the government will not declare an official state religion or prevent citizens from worshiping whatever god they want. It does NOT mean that members of government can't believe in God, talk about God, or base all of their decisions on what's best for the nation on the morals God has laid out in the Bible.

When you read anything the founding fathers wrote, to include the Declaration of Independence and Constitution, God was always a big part of everything they did. However, the bottom line of my reply is - believe what you want. Those who follow the Principles and Values of the 9/12 project will always stand with you.
