I hadn't noticed that the author of this article hadn't included the image copyright information.

I followed B's advice and found that it is a 2002 painting by Joseph Brickey, which apparently won a Mormon art competition: http://www.lds.org/churchhistory/museum/6thartcom...

Since it is not in the public domain and was apparently being used without permission of the artist, and I cannot find any evidence that its use is permitted under Creative Commons, I'm removing the image from this site and replacing it with Jan Wijnants' painting from 1670.

And it definitely points out a weakness in the app, if it is relying on chacha (user-input answers) instead of a database of vetted information. I guess it really IS the opposite of Siri!

Can you provide a link to that or not? I don't know where that''s coming from. For all I know, you made it up.

But it seems that the bishop was also saying that abusers of minors aren't sick. Do you think sex with kids is OK? Is that what you're defending?

However, it is about statements he made in 2010, which do not in any way reference his own earlier statement but instead complain about people going after the church.

The article Jenny got her quote from refers to part of a speech he made in 2007. Where is the text of that speech? You insist the quote is out of context; the only way we can see if it is not conveying the intent of the original speech is by reading the text of that speech . . . not "later statements".

A "later statement" may be interpreted as, "Oops, I said something bad, I need to make a clarifying statement now that everyone is mad at me".
