"Six-year-olds are not making people scared...But that same 6 year old will some day be 16. Then he will scare us." __This is why as the author says proactive measures are better than reactive. Teach them in school and even before that at home.__I know the power of restorative processes and if children learnt this at home and at school on how to get along with others and to take ownership of their actions this world will become a much better place. __The current court process is not helping us. By teaching people to plead not guilty, at all costs, on hopes of the Defence Lawyer getting you off is wrong. It is sending the wrong message.__Start teaching restorative processes early and consistantly will go a long way to harmonizing relationships in our communities.
