She's a British subject, doesn't need asylum. Nor do Brits have to go thru the hoops to get to the US, just a passport. Sadly, this goes on all the time. Sharia law is alive and well in Canada, and sadly, sometimes in the US. Lots of "adoptions" of 9.9 year old girls by older men go on all the time. The autorities know there isn't a blooody thing they can do to stop it, so they look the other way. Which is why this girl is on the run.
I hope this gets picked up by the mainstream media. Islam is a huge religion, like it or not. And there are too many who make excusses for it's ills every day. Oddly enough, one of the most liberal people I know, who has protested at nuke sites & been an anti-war demonstrator since the '60s first spoke out against Islam in the early 90's. We all thought he'd gone off his meds! Sadly, he was right. The practisioners of Islam cause more hate, pain & death than Christianty ever did durning some of her darker days (the burning of Joan of Arc, the Crusades).
Some sort of support for military families? That sounds oddly like Save a Child. So now we have Save a Marine? I don't think so. Talk about condescending! The sad part is that these folks don't realise the "military families" are the ones already serving: the county by their service, often they are the volunteer leaders of Scouts, 4-H, etc, also, they are volunteer fire & EMS once again ... serving. The folks that wrote & planned this need to get out of their limos & see some real people.
