Belltown, the next Compton. Getting a little out of hand here.
What's up with all the shootings? I'm all for guns, but we'll leave this for another time...every other day, someone gets shot. Sheesh! Aside from the political drama and constant research goes along with the political drama of the northwest, guns and gunfire appears to be out of control!! Once again, glad we moved out of the state and can just read about it. So sad, too bad.
"If we brought every potential project to the public, we'd spend hours - hours - doing public meetings that never resulted in anything," countered Rebecca Salinas.
Who is this chick? Sounds to me like a female version of Tom Weeks/Joel Horne. Remember them? In any case, the city and state spends hours and hours, weeks and weeks, month after month of research and staff meetings going over anything just to create billable hours. What's the diff Rebecca? Just another mouthpiece and bobblehead. Idiot.
When asked if he expected Hansen to pay the money back if the MOU doesn't get passed, Mayor Mike McGinn had no idea. "You know, I'm sorry, I don't have the answer to that. I'd have to ask that question," he said.
STOP! STOP! STOP! When will this insanity end? Only if the voting public of the city of Seattle wants it to end...until then, the beat goes on.
"I'm mad as hell and I'm not taking it anymore!!" What movie is this from?
Did anyone expect anything less? The system has been broken for a long time, why complain? Stop whining people. Find a way out of Seattle and King Co. If you're smart planner, you'll find your way out of the state. As I've said, nice place to visit, not worth paying the price of aggravation anymore. Until real leadership shows it's face on the state and local levels, you're in for a whole lot of hurt.
Either an insurance claim or lawsuit against Lexus. Has anyone checked if they have a drivers license? I wonder if they have financial issues? I don't think we'll be eating at this establishment anytime soon......!!!!!!
Kudos once again to Komo. Of all the news stations in the northwest, I do believe Komo is the only station that consistently brings out animal welfare "feel-good" stories. Other stations should take notice, or maybe they just don't care. All you need is one! Keep up the great work Komo and your staff that continually searches for stories such as this.
Conlin, City of Seattle council member and the Sound Transit Board, also a member of. Glad we made the move out of the city and state a few years back. From the pro sports arena to the political arena, what a mess. A great place to visit, but we're so glad we're no longer funding the whims of these idiotic decision makers.
Me thinks the Auburn Mayor has taken a course on city management from the Mayor of Seattle. How much longer until bike lanes rule the roads of Western Washington?? There's good and bad to every decision, whether it's major or minor, but this bike thing is for the birds. Or should I say for the major bike clubs of the northwest, which will soon have too much power for the the paying citizens of Washington to overcome. I've always said, if choices are given to bikers (I'm referring to the peddle bikers, not the mc clubs), they should pay their fair share to share the roads with motorists. Fair share is to pay for a license, renewal tabs each year, and education. If you don't pay, you can't play. Many states have this in place, for good reason and a good cause. No FREE LUNCH. Idiots.
