My eyes are full of tears. Glad I'm in the office on my own. Can't get enough of redemption stories.

This is exactly why I am on the school board of my daughters' school - to ensure that they are in an environment where their creativity is nourished and celebrated, where they are encouraged and affirmed, not pulled down because they have the same artistic personality as me. I went through similar experiences (apart from the dancing thing!) in my little village school in rural England, and again at my fancy private school in the city. It wasn't until our equivalent of Senior High, at yet another school that I finally felt the freedom and permission to be myself and finally be accepted. I wouldn't want anyone ever to go through the bullying and the barbed comments from both students and teachers that I experienced if I can help prevent that for this next generation.

Seriously, the photo scares me! But I know for a fact they are fabulous women :-)

Planning on arriving Saturday for setup and fun. Would love to hang out on campus with you.

Spence - I'm with you all the way - totally agree.

But that photo, it's plain terrifying. The hair! the teeth! the makeup! - there's not a normal woman there. Except for Sheila of course. But she's a superstar too.

From the snow to the sand. Done that. It takes a while, but I love the desert just as much as lush green fields, trees and rivers.

Well done on following God's crazy rabbit trail - I think He's teaching us that the journey is more important than the destination.

There's no way anyone would mistake me for a cover band singer - I'm not very slim, don't have any hair product, don't close my eyes very often while singing, and I don't sing very well. All for the glory of God.

My wife talked to me about how I had been particularly self-centred today. I didn't enjoy the conversation, but she did have a point.

Hi Greg. Love Catayst - love who they are and love what they do.

However, I think this project is really sending out mixed messages and I'm not sure they've really thought it through. Firstly, the project is all about making a worship album. It’s a commercial project in the first instance, and a way of equipping worship leaders and exposing people to new music in the second.

But, when you when you watch the video, a totally different message comes over - they’re on a quest to find out what God is doing all over the world. What are the songs He is using, who are the worship leaders He is anointing? The phrase “around the world” is used over and over. So when you read the fine print it’s a shock to read that the contest is only open to residents of the USA.

Mixed messages.
