I'm so sorry to hear you had a rough time, and I can't believe that kids bully you, as a teacher :(

I realize that some kids might be beyond help, but what was actually the inspiration behind this post was that my poor 2.5 year old niece was bitten on her face and eye, bleeding to the point where she had to go to the ER and might have permanent scarring. I know biting is an issue with toddlers, but this was not your normal bite. The kid (also 2.5) was a repeat offender and was also exhibiting other hostile behaviors toward the other kids (throwing things at them, charging at them, etc.) According to the day care director, his parents just don't care. How can you not care that your kid is terrorizing and attempting to bite the eye out of other kids? It's one thing to attempt to correct the behavior and have difficulty, but to just not care? :(
