I would have thought the answer to that was obvious even to you. Why have you changed your pseudonym and why have you elected to follow me ? The sentiments I expressed two weeks ago were spot on.

Thanks. You are, as always, the voice of good sense.

So you support the Houthi rebels then? Or do your morals just stretch to an ineffectual piece of virtue signalling that puts some of your countrymen out of work but makes you feel good about yourself? If you're going to argue Ian it's best to try to engage your brain before starting to type.

Oh dear! Is that supposed to be a serious point? You're not one of the pro-Putin trolls posting under a new pseudonym are you?

In what way does our relationship with Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States compromise our national security? Would you rather we were friendless in the middle east? Perhaps we should cosy up to Iran or Syria as the Russians do.

You support the Houthi rebels against their internationally recognised government? Or are you just into a little bit of virtue signalling allowing you to feel good about yourself for five minutes? Perhaps you can then go and tell the families of BAE employees how good you feel about yourself?

Ignoring the votes of the electorate is always disgraceful. Any government that does has no legitimacy at all.

It would ,as you well know be entirely possible to abide by the referendum result without wrecking the economy by doing anything so stupid as tearing up 40 years of trading agreements
In you warped and deluded world perhaps.

What are you suggesting Ian? Shall we declare war on them? What about allying ourselves with their principle enemy Iran? What do you mean by taking a stand?

No but I wouldn't put any of our commercial interest in jeopardy so we can indulge in a bit of virtue signalling.
