More than confidence. It is undermining the ability of businesses to be successful. The irony is that these policies crush the small to mid-sized business which try to grow by traditional means. Large corporations can work the books and move monies around in order to grab profits. Regional businesses don’t have these options and so they have to pay Uncle Sam the Tax Collector.

It is much easier to control and manipulate people employed at a few major corporations than it is to keep hundreds of thousands of small businesses under ones thumb.

The real question is if Congress and the White House continue to destroy the economy: "Will Hispanics want to stay in the US?"

We are a Presidential re-election away from me thinking of jumping the Canadian border. Or (gulp) maybe making southward swim across the Rio to viva en Mexico. At least I can be poor in a better climate there.

The cover-up is almost as sick as the neglect. "Good" people would have owned up to their misdeeds. I can only hope the criminals are treated better in jail than the poor Danieal Kelly was. RIP Danieal.

We run the risk of getting caught in the same viscous cycle that derailed the Japanese Economy in the 90's. Our politicians are caught in a Keynsian delusion that will have us staring at stagflation in short order.

The more people see the results of liberal ideas the more they want a less intrusive government. Political solutions to real-life problems have a real way of exacerbating the problems, not fixing them. Our current elected officials in Washington are providing one case study after another regarding this fact.
