Isn't the double cork just a variation of the michaelchuck from way back when??? What's the BFD here...we can only pray the olympic judges will award clean style avoiding a huckfest or chuckfest of you will!
Knowledge is key in the consultative sales process. Clinics and hands on demo's provide the best foundation on staying up to date. Having solid relationships with your reps will entice them to make sure your shop is kept up to date as well. There is alot of techno mumbo jumbo these days and the educated customer will call you out on it too so it's important to be able to back up your claims. Just don't get all high and mighty with it...the customer may NOT always be right but they are still the customer so knowing when to tone it down and listen will keep them coming back. Speaking of said customer all the high tech geek society stuff doesn't mean squat if you haven't laid down the relationship foundation. Sales 101 folks...80% of your business will come from 20% of your loyal customers. When we see our clients from 10 years ago roll in with their kids we know we have laid down a solid foundation for long term success.
