To Jeremy: we became a split nation following the 2000 election. We had differences before but the left was so incensed at what they termed a stolen election, that all manner of civility was tossed out. I know... there are examples of viciousness well prior to the year 2000, but that was the environment that legitimized hate speech on both sides.

Obama will further polarize the nation as the incredible spending will have to be paid for somehow. The age old argument that the left runs on each election cycle - that people may receive benefits that others are forced to pay for - will further split the country.

How could Bin Laden do this? The President is embarking on a new Apology Tour to the Middle East, just pronounced the US as the world's largest Muslim nation and seems prepared to abandon Israel. What does this guy want?

The President intends to make America less American in the hope that others will then like us enough not to attempt to remake the US either as a Muslim nation or as a nuclear wasteland.

This is the Obama administration's attempt to begin re-making America into something less American. Degrading a dominant cultural characteristic is just the first step. Obama also said in preparation for his Middle East trip that the US was the largest Muslim nation.

This President is preparing the world for a "New America" that is less what we were and more of what the world wants us to be. His Middle East Apology Tour is the beginning. Tracking the flow of funding within these groups is the next great battlefield of the War on Terror. We saw North Korea make a huge amount of progress since 2006 on its nuclear and missile delivery programs without any appreciable national economy. These efforts had to be funded by someone. Jihadi's will also be first in line to purchase nuclear weapons from DPRK with hard currency raised through whatever means possible - including these charity cover groups.

Unfortunately, Obama has created such a worldwide house of cards with his foreign policy that a conflagration in one area may yield a melt-down in another. Obama's dedication to talking has only made the world more dangerous. Israel has at least witnessed that the Obama administration is interested in talking, but not much else. Obama has allowed Iran to continue developing nuclear weapons that are sure to one day be raining down on Tel Aviv. Obama in fact didn't even talk much about the North Korean nuclear test over Memorial Day; He left town.

If Abbas wants a peace deal, he has to deal with Netanyahu directly. The US has only moderate leverage with the Israelis any more. Israel knows that Obama won't come to its aid and that it stands essentially alone.

This administration has created so many glaring foreign policy failures in its short tenure, that conflagration at one point may trigger conflict in another. Obama's naive world view that talking solves all problems has reduced respect for him and for the US. Curious that Abbas is making the demand of the United States and not continuing to work with Israel. Netanyahu has other problems on his hands at the moment though- problems caused by the United States' failure to reign in Iran's nuclear program. If the US won't demand that Iran cease nuclear weapons development, Israel won't be focusing on much else.

There are so many international flashpoints that the administration is ignoring, that any one of these may spark action elsewhere. Another Russian move into Georgia for instance might take Russian attention away from Iran long enough for the Israelis to strike. A North Korean incursion might distract Obama long enough for Iran to attempt a missile strike on Israel.

Obama's naive world view has achieved a remarkable number of failures during his short tenure in office. These failures are reaching a critical mass where a conflagration in one part of the world might inspire action in another. Interesting that Obama would raise money in a bankrupt state. The irony runs thick.

California is sure to ask for its bail out shortly as its liberal policies have drained the state treasury. Since the Governator cannot print money like Obama, California is stuck.

It is also quite interesting that on the day after North Korea's apparently successful test of a nuclear bomb, Obama boldly confronted the DPRK by... rolling out his Supreme Court pick. After rolling out his nominee, the President boldly struck out for Vegas to raise money for a leftist Senator that is clearly in trouble. Following that, the President boldly went to California, where that state is clearly in trouble as well. Still, the trip allowed him to avoid doing anything about the DPRK.

Failing to understand the world or submitting to a naive world view only endagers us all.

North Korea's nuclear program is tied to radical Islam by virtue of a declared common enemy - the United States and western civilization. DPRK can easily transfer a nuclear device to one of it's allies in the terror war for shipment to Mexico and then into the US. It just wouldn't be that difficult.

Obama chose to respond to North Korea's test by changing the subject. He used the opportunity yesterday to roll out his Supreme Court nominee.

The west ignores nuclear developments in Pakistan and in Korea at its peril. The press and the DC press corps seems content in its ignorance. ( for a top ten list of the really ridiculous things said in and around DC about North Korea, you can hit:

One can now tie in North Korea with the Islamic axis of power.
