I will never buy a home that is part of an association. It's simply a tax to live in the neighborhood, and an extra layer of government telling you what you can and can't do with your home. Rarely worth it.

It says something about how far backwards we've become when we even have an argument about this. We clearly live in the land of entitlement.

George Baron, change your groups's name to the Northwest Illegal Immigrants Right's Project. It would make more sense.

Those who elected him couldn't possibly expect anything less, could they?

Glad I live outside the city.

The game is too expensive to watch in the park. To take my family of 5 to the game and buy food for everyone, I'd spend $150 bucks easy. Sure I could sit in the cheapest seats available, but my kids shouldn't have to watch the game through binoculars. I decided a couple years ago that professional games (not just baseball, but all of them) have passed my affordablity threshold. I have a hard time paying $70 for a football ticket when the owners and players are bickering over BILLIONS in revenue. I'll be at home.

Of course you do. Being a loser yourself, it must make you feel better for others to do the same.

Hate sports much?

I am getting a feeling after reading your posts that you haven't the first clue what a teacher does. Oh that is right, you went to school, which makes you an expert on the education system. And I'm sure your mediocre teacher friends have filled you in on how easy it must be. Perhaps that is the root of the problem. Why in the world would anyone who rises high on the "academic or motivational scale" WANT to be a teacher. They spend about 5 minutes a day teaching and the rest cleaning up the mess that parents have made by neglecting their children. Teachers in this country are the highest paid baby sitters on the planet.

Good idea genius. Then the TSD can spend the next SIX MONTHS trying to hire new teachers. Everyone thinks that there is a magical pool of teachers just waiting to be hired full time out there. You must be the head of a think tank or something.

Then who would you get to babysit your kids?

I'd love to see all the dummies who yell "fire them!" try to run a district. I'm sure you'd do a great job - right up to the point where you'd get lynched by the parents.

It's called civil disobedience you knob. Look it up in the dictionary. I bet you think all the blacks who broke the segregation laws in the 60's should have been thrown in jail.

Sometimes defying a judges order is the right thing to do.

No, the people who pay taxes and expect a top notch education for their kids. Over crowded classrooms and underpaid teachers is how the TSD works. If I had kids in that district I'd demand that they create a better learning environment for the students. That doesn't include short changing teachers.

I would think a union hater like you would at least like to see your taxpayers dollars working smarter not harder.
