I'm no television expert but Fox News is a cable station. I guess they could use the Fox Network but I'm thinking that they would have done it if they thought it was financially feaseable. I'm with "Phoenician." I get most of my news from radio these days. But that doesn't help your cause.
I've tried that. They don't get it. They're p.o.'d that Wall Street ruined them and think that this is best. They're fed up with Health care costs and want Obama to take care of it. Bush got too involved with education (with Teddy Kennedy for crying out loud) etc.. Arrrgh...Thanks for the help tho.
Well, the problem is that I am prepared with knowledge of how I feel but get befuddled when they start yammering at me. That is why I am searching for easy one line zingers that my less than great memory will hold!!! Thank you.

I am in California and we have a generic affiliation called "Decline to State." I was so fed up with both parties. I found that I no longer get junk mail from either party and feel that if anything, it keeps em guessing. I don't know if this is the right thing to do but sometimes I think that representatives tend to feel that if they're voted in, it must be a mandate to go one way or the other. Hence, they don't even bother with dissent in any form. I have found that to be very true as both of my senators and congressman are Democrats...Plus the Speak of the House is from my lovely liberal state as well. California has had a democratic legislature for eons now and look at the mess we're in.
I'm sure this isn't a new vent, but I cannot possibly read 14,000+ comments to find out. Alot of people I know are liberal for the sake of being liberal...not really understanding how far this is going. I like to engage with them but they throw out talking points and continually talk about the last 8 years....I throw my hands up in frustration and end the conversation. The only topic I seem to make headway with is the budget and bailouts by simply asking them "would you get out of debt by getting another credit card and maxing it out too?" which usually makes them sputter. I am looking for simple questions like that on other issues...Simple short one line "zingers" so I can get even a little headway into their thick skulls. Thanks for any help.
The mere fact that they're discussing it behind closed doors means yet again, this current Congress and Administration think we do what THEY say and not the other way around. They don't want our prying ears listening as THEY decide what's best for us. As for the statement about Medicare...phooey!!! Most medicare recipients I know have to purchase additional insurance in order to see good Doctors in a prompt manner. This is so sad.
Glenn Beck did not set up this site for stuff like this. We're looking for answers, not to bash or insult or make fun of anyone.
