Well you can't let any crisis go to waste you know.... Once the panic sets in the people will demand that someone do something. What do you think has caused most of this mess we are in.

I know my parents and grand parents would have just ground it out not bitched or complained just done.. I some times wish I would have been born 50 years earlier.

It is also a means to TAX us without paying the political price. This is what is going to cause all of us small businesses so many problems; the hidden taxes.

That is why I have real admiration for the way FORD has acted lately. They have even come out and said that they will not take any government money so they can control their own destiny. Wow what a concept! I want to get a FORD as the next vehicle that I buy.

"Treating all our allies fairly" That would be fine but we would have to take a long hard look at who our allies are then. Would you rate Mexico as an ally? How about Canada or France? Whether you want to admit it or not Isreal would come down on our side like few others when push comes to shove. They therefore rate us giving them support now.

I have been thinking about Rome alot lately. I wonder if they saw the fall or it was the same slow steady death that we are on right now.

We currently have the most powerful country the world has EVER SEEN and we are giving away sovreigty. What a shame.

Where did you hear that he writes his own speeches? The ONLY time I have ever hear about him writing the speech was his acceptance or inagural. Don't believe the hype that he write his own speeches.

It is more than just giving them money. Isreal gives us a foothold in the region. Isreal also is an ally and for better or worse WE MUST DEFEND our allies. As soon as we stop, the Iranians, the Russians, the Chinese will become even bigger problems for ua all. Any weakness whether real or percieved will have far reaching consequenses.

What we need is someone with a proven track record of DOING what they say they are going to do. I am not sure that Newt mets that, I think that they only got 10-15 items in the contract with America ever done. Also the whole scandel scene I could do with out

Would a FOSSIL or dinosour be better? I think that the thing that we need to do is give them just one or two terms and then that is it.
