Confucious and/or Angie, please... For those non-initiated on the hacker arts, like me... Are there step-by-step instructions on how to perform the installation of PwnageTool 4.01? My iPhone 3G is currently dead in the water (I upgraded it to 4.0 before reading everything I should read about it, stupid me, and now it doesn't recognize my phone chip). But I've downloaded it using a torrent client, which is a start... Thanks in advance.

OK, I've screwed up. Did not read the warnings related to 2.2.1 and the new firmware. They are in the iPhone now. The question is: is there a way to revert to the previous 2.2 and the previous firmware without destroying anything else in the process? How is that done, step by step? Another question (pardon my ignorance, I am a rookie hacker): what is the difference between "jailbroken" and "unlocked"? Thanks in advance for any help.
