Hello Laura, thank you for the gentle reminder on discipline. Your story was a wonderful reminder on how " The Silva Method " when I practice it daily will work for me.
Today was the first time in a while that I had listened to your work. I took the time to do something for myself and to become focused on what was going on around me, of all the lessons I could have chosen to listen to I started with lesson 1 again. It was just what I needed. It was like you were reading my mind, with a clearer understanding of what was bothering me I have now worked around it and will continue to become more disciplined at re-continuing with my study of the Silva Method.
Thanks again,

Wow! Day 10 already, I am really enjoying and notes and they are definitely helping me nail down my plan and help set some goals. I have heard many times about writing down my thoughts about what I want and keeping a journal and today you drove home that point for me.
Mind mapping I have heard that term before however I did not really understand how to do it until after watching your YouTube video Brian and I watched a couple of Tony Buzan's video's while I was there. This is an incredible concept and I look forward to practicing it.
Goals and process I like the way you suggested going back in time to when you did achieve a goal and allow yourself to create points of reference on how you actually attained the goal.
Make it a great weekend everyone.

What a wonderful set of notes on an incredible book. Biggest things I learned today was to ask myself the question what do I want.
The fuel gauge analogy was fantastic learning to control my emotions and keep them in check in any given circumstance will take some practice to do, however the personal rewards for mastering this will be incredible.
Going to work on what I really want.
Make it a great weekend everyone.

Wow! what a great day I am really liking this, today's book notes were so easy to relate to as I read them it was easy to picture myself in them if that makes sense. In habit #1 the part on commitments really struck a chord with me as it feels like I am sometimes helping everyone else but myself.
When I moved on to Habit #3 Putting Things First to see the word No wow it sure felt good to say it, no, no, no, no,no this will come in handy when I fill out the quadrant model for time management and begin to prioritize my time for myself.

What a great book to start off and even greater challenge. There was lots to think about while reading the notes but what stood out most for me was the 3rd agreement: Don't Make Assumptions. It is just amazing how easily the mind can lead us to believe what we think other people are thinking and how it can seem so real at the time that we don't question our own thoughts. As I read a little farther it was nice to see by asking questions and communicating better with someone that my assumptions of the situation or person would become less and less.
