1. He's adequately highlighting the ineptitude of the Police Service by admitting that there was still evidence at the crime scene THREE DAYS after the event (and trying to sound intelligent in the process). That's more than enough time for anyone else to contaminate any evidence, plant evidence, etc.
2. He's politicizing it by specifically naming Dr. Rowley as a lawbreaker here by holding the spent shells, which may have been given to him by residents if he did in fact handle them. Where's the call to charge the residents? He's not even sure that Dr. Rowley handled the shells, and I quote: "There are pictures and videos of persons holding shell casings, including the Opposition Leader, I believe."
3. "He said the proper procedure was for residents to contact the police so that crime scene investigators could properly handle the evidence, and that photographs of where each casing was on the ground would have been taken to recreate the scene." No, the proper procedure should be for the police to cordon off the area immediately and have the crime scene processed in an efficient and effective manner. What happened here was way worse than banana republic. The Police look like Keystone cops.
And people like Rokerry1 who come on here and only see a chance to cry down anything Rowley or PNM instead of using the brain matter that God gave them to see the bigger picture are no less Magoo than Inspector Seales.
