Whether you are for or against a government run health plan don’t you think that it would be in your best interest to have Congress on the same plan? If you agree, call your Representative in the US House and tell them to vote YES and co-sponsor H Res 615. Make Congress take their own medicine!! Read more below.
Congressman Fleming has introduced a resolution that if a Congress person votes for this government health care plan they need to agree to sign up themselves!! Please pass this along and let your Representatives know you want them to vote YES!!

Resolved, That it is the sense of the House of Representatives that Members who vote in favor of the establishment of a public, Federal Government run health insurance option are urged to forgo their right to participate in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) and agree to enroll under that public option.

Resolved, That it is the sense of the House of Representatives that the Secretary of the Treasury and the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System should--
(1) protect and enhance every American consumer's and business's access to credit;
(2) encourage credit card issuers, banks, and other creditors to recognize longstanding customers who are in good standing by not cutting their credit lines or raising their interest rates; and
(3) reserve access to programs under the Federal Reserve Act and the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act for those institutions that are working to increase consumer and business access to credit.

Senator Rockefeller is the Nephew of Billionaire Banker David Rockefeller and Great Grandson of Nelson Aldrich who gave us the Aldrich Plan (1911) which opened the door for the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and the 16th amendment. How has that worked out for us? This family looks out for themselves not for Americans.

Section involving prosecution for no-compliance. Unconstitutional? 13th amendment is supposed to protect Americans against slavery and servitude. Scary legislature.

The internet is a great medium for mass communication, great for free speech, only untouched medium for freedom of the Press and grass roots organizing. Do you really want the Government/Corporations to control and regulate it ?

H.R. 1913: Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009
Congress will be voting this week. Love the title "Local". This is legislation to have the Federal government spend 5 Million of your hard earned tax dollars a year to help States deal with “Hate Crime Prosecution” and hire more Federal agents (at whatever cost necessary) to do this. I guess our State taxes aren’t paying for enough police. Some portions look ify about prosecution for perceived actions, motivated by, channels (internet?) etc… So many questions: 1st Amendment (free speech) problem? Equal protection under the law problem? Don't we pay State taxes for law enforcement?
