I am in the same spot. When you say that because we used spirit at one point then we have a new bootrom, is that because spirit upgrades the bootrom? That would be the only way I would have gotten the new one.

How do we check the bootrom?

I am happy to wait.. but I just don't understand why we have to. It seems strange that just because we used spirit that we can't restore with pwnagetool. I am not complaining, I am just trying to understand.

I am with you on that. I used Pwnagetool before and recently I used Spirit.. can I still use pwnagetool 4.0?

So, you can use this even if you used spirit? As long as you didn't use spirit the first time you jailbroke?

I love doing the tracking part, but the Artwork involved in creating plates for background and set replacement is where I get hung up.
