Confusing to him? I'd bet that he completely understands the First Amendment though and would be willing to pull that card if confronted about the stupidity of his words....

And in my area, $25/hour puts me in the middle of middle class income.
While I agree with you about elected officials, I am not one of those, nor have I ever been, nor do I aspire to become one.
I am the person, one of tens of thousands, who will be most directly affected by this pay freeze, who has to work in the job for TWENTY years for a crap retirement (translation, one that won't pay me enough to survive on, which means I end up having to take a job after retirement in order to survive)...and remember, we "overpaid" government employees had 401K's also...mine isn't worth so much now.
Don't blame me for the woes of others, blame those in power who caused the economic collapse which caused those people you speak of to lose their jobs in the first place...
I ask again, would you be willing to do MY job for MY pay, much less half of it???

I'm a civilian working for the US Army...the job I have is deadly (destruction of chemical agents), EVERY SINGLE DAY! I make around $26/hour, am allowed very little overtime and pay for my own health insurance (as the VAST MAJORITY of federal workers do) and am directly affected by obamacare (as the VAST MARJORITY of federal workers are).
Translation: I am NOT RICH and need my measly little old pay raise in order to be able to exist on, much less live on.
I would like to see ANY of your do the job I do for the money I make, must less, as one individual up above put it, 25% less...
I am (was?) only looking at a 1.4% raise this coming January to begin with, but with my health care going up, my federal taxes probably going up (in the range of $500 extra coming out a month), my property taxes going up, food going up, gas going up, etc, etc, I will be LOSING a vast amount of money every month.

Your first mistake is considering this cult to be a religion...but, playing your game, that "religion" is waging a war against the whole of the rest of the world for supremacy...and they DON'T play nice.

"Religion of peace"....bullschit. And don't give me the crap that "they're not all like that...it's only about 1 percent who give a bad name to the rest"....well, bullschit on that too. If the 99 percent that aren't like that would rise up and take care of the lowly 1 percent, then there wouldn't be a problem...but they don't...their silence is deafening. And, by their silence, they are endorsing the actions of the radicalists....
