Great segment with a "Pa and Son" scene and the concept of BAILING OUT vs CONSEQUENCES for actions (in this case, accidents)

How about BAILOUTS for banks, auto companies, sweet deals for union cronies that got their members to vote?

Thanks for sharing Janet, I'm definitely re-posting and emailing it too.

I 2nd those opinions!
Can you imagine what your boss would say if you chose just not to show up to work for 2 days, let alone 2 weeks! without real excuse? I'm talking about actual illness... not via phony excuses "doctor's notes" issued on the street last week to all, even to Breitbart himself? I personally would be shown the door, post-haste.

FINALLY... something is being done about this 14 Wisconsin state senators who are CHICKEN to cast a vote. Just Do It... cast your Yes or No vote and be done with it already. Those union members counting on your NO vote with have proof of your standing and support you in the next election. If you vote YES you'll have the support of the Republicans, Independents and the Democrats who are FINANCIAL conservatives.

How about an investigation in to HOW or WHO is supporting these 14 to be out of state? Who's paying their hotel bills? Who's paying their meals? Who's paying for their day to day expenses & cleaners bills? Who's paying for their transportation (rental or gasoline)? Are they using Wisconsin state vehicles & gas credit cards?
Which UNIONS or LOBBYISTS are paying for it behind the scenes, via slush funds or via reimbursements made to private individuals making "donations" to the offices of 14 State Senators?

Where's the MEDIA doing all the reporting?

What do YOU think about the unions in WI on strike for over 1wk, kids out of school, working parents need to find childcare... certainly NOT building support I'm sure, but don't ask me. I think that UNIONS were necessary in the early 1900's but by the turn of the century, UNIONS and their UNION BOSSES were too powerful and IMHO, actually HARMED their union members.

If I didn't show up for work I'd be fired!

These teachers, with their extensive union benefits including a "cadillac" healthcare plan that is OWNED by the union (not purchased from another company), with a great retirement benefit (personally, my company has NO retirement plan, nor offers a 401K plan, nor an un-matched 401K plan for us to save... have only an ordinary IRA that I max out every year)...

Anyway, these teachers, public school staff be they teachers, cafeteria workers, janitorial staff, etc... need to GET BACK TO WORK or find another career and employer that will give them what they seek.

Re the DEM LAWMAKERS that RAN-AWAY to neighboring states.... well as Rep Nancy Pelosi (former Speaker of the House) and Pres Obama said to the Republicans in 2009 and 2010 prior to the election... WE (the Dems) WON... so you can't do anything about it.

OK, the REPUBLICANS finally won across the board in WI, the first time in many many decades, so come back home to the WI Capitol and make the vote, either Yes or No, and live with it.

Have YOU heard about this? Have YOU heard a blurb, a peek, a mention of this on any "mainstream media" news outlet, be it print, broadcast tv or cable tv?

I haven't.

How about the ever increasing cost of gas at the pump? Are you hearing the incessant reporting that was (figuratively) from the rooftops by the Left and Progressives... "Bush making his oil friends rich with gas at $3.50+ /gal" I paid $3.599/gal regular gas yesterday (2-16-11)... where's the media complaining about OBAMA and the cost of gas?? Anyone? Anyone?

Thank you Andrew Breitbart for creating the news reporting sources that we can learn from and share the info that seems to be HIDDEN from the masses, especially under THIS administration.

The change in the American political scene started tonight with the successful win of Republican Scott Brown to Senate! The end of David Gergen's question about "the Kennedy seat." As Scott Brown put it "it's not the Kennedy seat, it's not a Democrat seat, it's the PEOPLE'S SEAT."

Hooray for Scott Brown and for America!
