How about a TV spot where people write in about the stimulus or earmarks and comment on what they thought was ridiculous and what could have been done instead with the money? The liberals keep crying out to us to suggest alternatives, so let's start.
For example: Instead of 2 mil for astrology research in HI we invest 1/2 million each in four major us cities to employ people and rent empty storefronts and start food co-ops people could use to supplement budgets. How many would have been helped vs. a really dumb idea that is wasteful?
Instead of 1.7 million to combat swine odor what about spending it, devided between about a dozen US rural communities to fund a fee for use elderly transport bus system that uses hybrid or electric vehicles. We could commission GM to build these vehicles so they won't go bankrupt.
People have so many issues with all these budget/stimulus items. Did anyone ask US what we thought would be a good way to spend it all? Nope, it wasn't read before it was signed and most of the stuff is idiot brained foolhearty spending that doesn't really help.
So, let's get the ideas flowing.
